This is a one woman operation here ... each piece is designed, handcrafted, photographed, packaged & shipped by me.  I work out of my home studio in Seattle, where I live with my husband, Billy, & daughter, Isa.

           I feel fortunate everyday.

About m.frances

"I have found that if you love life, life will love you back."

I began experimenting with making jewelry as a creative outlet while working in the corporate world after graduating from college. I became hooked immediately & dreamed of running my own line someday. I am mostly self-taught, but have taken some Jewelry/metalsmith classes & continue to do so to learn new skills & add fresh ideas. I founded m. frances Jewelry in 2006.

My Grandma Frances was influential in my love of jewelry. Her varied jewelry collection was impressive to my young eyes & I was fascinated by the stories she could tell with each piece, whether it was a sentimental necklace passed down from her mom or a Native American ring she had picked up on her travels across the country. Her jewelry was a reflection of who she was & where she had been. I feel so lucky to own some of her treasured pieces now & to know that I will pass them down to my daughter, Isa.

Jewelry can make us feel loved, beautiful, smart, happy & remind us of a special moment or person in our lives. My greatest hope is to create jewelry that makes you feel like your best self & helps you share your story.

I am inspired by~
uplifting words & quotes, travel, music, exercising/hiking outdoors, my daughter, Isa & her insightful perspective on the world

Things I love~
warm sunshiny days, sunsets & starry nights, perusing vintage shops, coffee with Billy, good company, food & wine

Thank you for making m. frances possible with your continued support!
